• Henry "Harry" Jekyll is a highly regarded figure in London's social circles. Engaged to Muriel Carew, the daughter of a brigadier general, in his personal life, and a medical doctor, scientist, and academician in his professional life, he espouses a theory that every individual harbors both good and evil within, which can be separated into two distinct entities. By controlling the evil side under the guise of Mr. Hyde, Jekyll aims to allow the good side to flourish independently, ultimately benefiting society. Using himself as the subject for his experiments, Jekyll inadvertently unleashes Mr. Hyde into the streets of London, where he creates havoc by tormenting Ivy Pierson. Witnessing the consequences of his actions on Ivy, Jekyll decides to halt his experiments. Unbeknownst to him, however, is the deep entanglement between his own identity and that of Mr. Hyde.
